Anyone using one of these gauges on their trucks, more specifically on an 04-05????? It looks like a great addition considering everything it can do and I want to order one but dont know what the difference between the SR and CNC models are. The SR is suppose to be 05 and under and the CNC is suppose to be 06 and up. I know it is pricey but for the features it offers its like having 20 gauges in the same setup.
The Interceptor scan gauge is capable of displaying over 100 parameters, two at a time (8 using cyclic scan), at an adjustable rate of up to approximately 20 times per second. Not all are supported by every vehicle, so there is no guarantee that the Interceptor will display all of these on your particular car or truck. If the vehicle is broadcasting the parameter, the Interceptor will recognize this and make it available for display. A sample list is below...
* RPM
* MPH
* Intake Air Temperature (post Intercooler)
* Ambient Air Temperature (pre Intercooler)
* Engine Coolant Temperature
* Exhaust Gas Temperature (PCM Calculated)
* Transmission Temp. (auto trans)
* Manifold Pressure (vacuum/boost) displayed in PSI
* Fuel Temperature
* Battery Voltage
* Battery Temp
* Injector Pulse Width in msec.
* Injector Duty Cycle (%)
* Air Flow Rate into engine
* Long Term Fuel Trim
* Short Term Fuel Trim
* O2 Sensor Voltage
* Barometric Pressure
* Ignition Advance
* Base Spark
* PCM Spark Adjust
* Fuel Status (open/closed loop)
* Wastegate Solenoid Duty Cycle (%)
* Knock Retard
* Knock Sensor Raw Voltage
* Throttle Position Percentage
* Throttle Position Sensor Raw Volts
* Calculated Net Horsepower
* Engine Load
* Transmission Slip
* Current Transmission Gear
* Torque Delivered to Transmission
* Torque Converter lockup status
* Brake pressure
* Brake Booster Travel
* Steering Angle
* Non-driven Wheel Speed
* Lateral G's
* Yaw
* Fuel economy (instantaneous and average)
* P-ratio - pressure ratio MAP/Barometer
It will also do 0-60, 1/8th and 1/4 mile times.
I know not all of these features are available on all years but there are a few I know I would like to use.

so do you have to put new sensors in with it or does it hook to the computer and display what the computer receives?

Im sure there are some things that will require a new sensors and they do have some kits for them but from the sounds of it though it is just plug and play with this gauge
ive been wanting one, like you said its like having mulitple gauges, and its accurate digital readouts. definitely worth it, if i get the extra "truck" cash it will be on my list also. I have seen a few used ones for sale on that "other" site from time to time also.
