I used 91oct on my truck when it was bone stock. I run 93oct now with a Diablo 91perf tune in it.

If your gasoline has up to 14% ethanol in it, go one step up from Manufacturer recommendations. Meaning 89 is OK and you should run 91oct.
That's me and i have never ever had any issue's with anything fuel related. Everyone of my yard tools that get put away for 7months of winter never ever had any problem starting and running for the first time. Why, because I use only 93oct on my garage tools because the ethanol sours gas real quick!

if it didnt run fine i wouldnt use 87 octane but it runs perfect....another reason why i use 87 is because everything i own has always used 87 including all my vehicles till this one and we get a fuel truck out to our place to fill our big tanks..and i get good deals on 87

Oh hell, my bad, I didn't read or see that you had a SC in your sig. Yeah, they detune it enough that they swear you are fine with 87.
I'd trust a tuner with an 87 tune a hell of a lot more than stock tune and 87 gas...
