Search function! Lots of threads out there for this stuff as well as other posts right on the first page.

Asking what the best sub is like asking what the best car out there is. Well that depends on fitment, price and personal taste. You should direct your question as to what is the best sub for a certain budget.. i.e.... like $300...etc

Well Im gonna say Kicker since we not have 3 different answers and are only helping to confuse the OP more and lead to more Qs.

Its all about budget and space...
If your going with a prefab box made for under the seats you really cant expect GROUND POUNDING bass from them but a set of 13Ov2's from elemental designs would be decent if you could find a used set (they dont make em anymore). Mounting is 6.125" i think and they are relativly cheap..
But if your gonna make a custom box and dont mind dropping few hundred on a sub then grab a 2005 RE XXX 12" put it in a ported box 2.5CuFt @ 28Hz with about 2000watts RMS and you will be very impressed..
The 06-08 XXX's are amazing but cost upwards of $600+ USED !

Post Subwoofer depth

If you are putting a box under back seats, make sure the sub or sub's will fit. I had a infinity sub i had to return because it would not fit in the box. I ended up going with a alpine s series.
