Default body lift pre dissasembly

has any one installed a body lift on a 03 or similar year and did you remove everything suggested

im hopefully installing a body lift this weekend and the pa instructions say to remove temporaily the washer resivour the overflow resivour, several line and cable clips or tabs among many other things. has any one installed a body lift on a 03 or similar year and did you remove everything suggested im not against removing everything but id love to get away with not doin it. but if complications will occur ill do it


also any tips on the install thanks

I've done three body lifts- 03, 04, and 07.

Yes, you have to remove everything in the directions. Especially the reservoirs since you will be removing the fan shroud. Just follow the steps one at a time and you'll be done before you know it.

Watch this to get a feel for it.

i installed one a couple months ago on my 03. i did everything the PA instructions said except vutting and extending the gas lines. i was going to but the guy that helped me said lets see what happens when we lift the bed. everything was fine.

The instructions are good but some parts of it are a little ambiguous. Just take it easy and keep the beer flowing. All should be good. Mines 03 by the way.
