Well, I tried to install this Flip Kit for the rear. Yeah........didn't go as planned. LOL. I did however get the roll pan installed, that took less than an hour. LOL.

So, my question now is, how in the world is the axle supposed to fit over the leaf spring? I took the leaf spring all the way out and when I went to install the new plate, that came with the kit, I just couldn't figure out how to marry the two. Maybe I'm stupid, IDK, all I know is I had a hell of a time taking all that crap off, and just as hard of a time putting it back on.

I'm just gonna have to part with, roughly, $350 and have someone who knows what the heck they're doing install this b*tch! LOL. I just couldn't do it. I only had one person helping me, and he wasn't knowledgeable with this stuff either. So, I was working blind, in a sense. LOL.

As for the directions that came with the kit.........useless, bloody useless. I guess i'm just not too bright when it comes to this kind of stuff. LOL.

I will however take pictures of the install when I have "Low Inc Customs" install it. That way when they install it they can just do the alignment as well.

So, as of right now, I've got the roll pan installed. Which is gonna get welded next saturday. Just got sheet metal screws holding it in right now. It's gonna look real clean once all the welding is complete. Then i got some bondo work to do and a lot of sanding and final prep work before it goes to the painter. Which is unfortunately gonna be a while. LOL.

it shouldnt be that hard... everything can only go together one way. did you try every different combo you could? thats what i had to do. "does it fit together like this? no... well lets try this..." and so on. thats how i installed mine.

Wish I could tell you. I thought I had bought a DJM Drop Kit, when the boxes got here, I had two. One said "Western Suspension", and the other just had four drop shocks in it, two are Belltech brand, and two are off brand. Well I think they're off brand, since I can't read the stinking writing on there. LOL.

I guess that's what I get for ordering out of a magazine. But, The stuff looks like quality stuff. I just don't know how to get the plate that came with the kit to marry with that plate thats welded to the top of my axle. That whole little assembly part I don't get. And the directions aren't any help.

Pictures would be nice.........

Another thing was, the U-bolts. The ones that came in the kit were a lil too narrow. I mean, I could bang them on with a hammer. But as far as just slipping on, nope. They are a lot beefier then the stockers. Heck everything in this kit is beefier.

What would help me, is one of you guys take a picture of the way your flip kit looks in the back. That way I would have a guide to go off of. Make Sense?

i just went out to my truck and snapped these. this is how my kit is set up in the rear. i used the factory u-bolts. they took a little elbow grease and some choice curse words, but they work just fine.

Thanks for the pics. I don't have the top piece that goes over your axle. I only have the bottom plate, and the U-Carrier thing, or at least thats what I call it. I'll snap some pics.

K, I've got the pics attached. I now know what everything is except for these stupid red things. IDK, what they are for. But, the parts I got look like quality parts.
