Default lifted trucks

our province is considering a limit on how high you can lift a truck. what a load of crap! they worry about a few lifted trucks while the semi drivers plow us down doing way too fast. what are they going to take away next?

whats the limit? That is a load of crap, but I have seen a couple videos of "sick bros" in cali lifting their ferds so high that too sharp of a turn at 10 mph will cause it to flip over.

Got one of those living down the street from me. Dude's got a Chevy diesel with about 14" of suspension lift. Can't do anything with that but mall-crawl.

I've heard about laws like that...They claim it's for the safety of other vehicles if there is a collision...I don't know how much it really matters. If I hit a small car or a small car hits me, I think I'm probably gonna win no matter how high my truck is off the ground.

the fact is that there are many states that have laws like that in effect.I can see the pint of haveing them.there are a few trucks by my house that are so ridiculously huge that they're useless for when it comes to off roading.when i lived in cali a buddy of mine had an f-350 4x4 with 44" ties on it and we still went out to the sand dunes and off roaded it.I think it had something like a 10 or 12" lift on it

Not sure about the knock against truck drivers ! [ the guys who deliver your parts, beer, fuel, tires, food, and everything else you own] or what it has to do with the issue of lifted trucks, semis have a lot more stringet rules than passenger vehicles do including a goverment sanctioned inspection every 6 months .

The issue with lifted trucks is bumper height and headlight height ! both strictly monitered by the D.O.T.on commercial trucks!
Worry about placing the blame where it belongs ie... Sask government ! without dragging the truck drivers through the mud! We have enough problems already !!!!
