On an STS turbo this is correct. You can't simply say 8psi is cut-off for all Forced induction systems as some eat up more hp than others making them less efficient.
For ex. You could run 8psi on a Procharger and get the same output as a 6psi STS Turbo.
However, any FI system sold on the market is safe for a stock vehcle and will hold up. It's when you get into more boost than what their stock kits provide there will be issue's.
That's what I meant, for an STS on a stock hemi. Although KRC is testing the boosting limits on the 5.9, they haven't played with a stock hemi much. It'd be interesting to see just what the limits are on that engine.

A bit of confusion going on here. The STS Dodge Ram kits do not come with any tuning. You will need a 2 bar MAP sensor, larger fuel injectors, and your choice of custom tuner. ie. CMR, SCT, or various piggyback controllers.
The stock engine will live with 6 psi or up to 8 psi with methanol injection to keep things cool and not detonating. Any higher and the cast aluminum pistons will start breaking apart.
Towing is definitely not a good idea, especially on a stock engine. Boost increases with engine load meaning towing up a hill will cause high boost levels at low RPM. While this provides great torque, the pistons and valves are going to melt.
Frost king - I have seen some of your youtube videos of your truck (assuming this is your truck, which I believe it is) let me say your truck is just sick!!!
The truck in the video is a 2003 Ram. The dealer voids the warranty, not the turbo, so shop around and make friends.
Was that engine a bored out Hemi? Because I've been looking for any FI solution that I can. Especially after my brother got a Supercharger on his truck. My truck is a 2003 Hemi, and obviously, a supercharger can't be put on my truck.
