FM 30s used to be really good for deep sounds but they quit making them.

As others have pointed out, magnaflow seems to possess the ultimate medium of a deep tone with minimal to comparable drone of the stock muffler. I recently had a 8x11x22 magnaflow muffler installed on my truck, and I'm extremely happy with it. It sounds like stock starting up, but has a nice clean deep sound to it while driving around. I took a 500 mile trip last week, and it was the first time while owning a truck that I found the perfect muffler that didn't consume the cab with drone on the highway, I was stoked. Personally, I'm the kind of guy who needs to make a scene occasionally, and that's why I had to have the exhaust cut-out too. Most of the time I drive around enjoying the magnaflow and the hemi motor purring, but when I see an annoying little Jetta try to pass me, I hold the switch down and let him hear the hemi roar.

Just had mine dualed yesterday. I had the Magnaflow TRU-X perforated muffler put on. Even though I have the MDS turned off, if I should ever want to turn it back on then this muffler is supposed to cure the drone caused by it. Quiet @ idle and a very nice deep rumble upon acceleration that isnt obnoxious. The shop even flanged one pipe to allow for tranny removal. $450.00

If you search every exhaust thread on here, you will find the majority of everyone says Magnaflow or Flowmaster followed by aeroturbine ,cherry bomb, then a mixing of whatevers left, gibson, dynomax etc....

X2!
They sound better than anything else and don't drone.

Bluesmanjesse- your truck is gorgeous, simple and sweet. I wish i could have gotten my hands on a black truck. My next one will definitely be black
