Default 275-65-20

Hey guys, I'm leaning towards a set of Goodyear ATS in 275/65/20 typical of the Ford Superdutys. Right now I'm on a set of worn out Pirelli 275/55/20, which are way too small, as they don't look right.

I've got the Power Wagon flares and 4.56 gears, so if the 65's will fit without rubbing, it should be a great setup. Is anyone running these big of tires, ~34" without special lift kits? I'm lifted a few rounds on the torsion bars now. Thanks a lot!

Not a big fan of Goodyear tires, every set I've owned have had issues from cupping to belt separations and many guys I've known and on the forums have complained of the same issues...

I am running 275/65/20 on a 1500 Hemi without any issues at all. No rub, but I do have a cupping issue a little bit and I align and rotated every 8000 and 5000 repectively.

Common problem with 20's according to my dealer. The crappy front shocks don't help much. Mine has cupped all 4 tires now since they have been rotated a couple of times. Going back to the dealer soon.

305 55 20 would look good, but they are $100 more a tire compared to 275 60 20 if you want a m/t, 33 12.5 20 would look good as well, with the 4.56 gears, i would go with 35 12.5 20

Thanks a lot guys, I'm still struggling here a bit with the selection. I want the bigger tire look, but I don't want to spend a ton of $$$ on them, as I'm probably getting a new ride next spring/summer. I've never been a big fan of Goodyears, but the options seem a little limited. I can get ATS 65 series to my door for around $170 each, which is tough to beat. The Nittos and Bridgestones are around $250+ each which is pretty significant.

The gears should be great with the bigger tires; even with the little worn out 32's, she runs about 2250 rpm at 70 mph. It still blows my mind having 3.55's with 33" tires from the factory...
