Default Suspension Problem

Okay, well my 07 QCSB with 30K is now having some major suspension problems....as in scary and unsafe problems

If I am going over about 50 and turning (as in interstate and highway driving) I get what I think might be the "Death Wobble"---My truck starts shaking and the back end tries to go another way than the front. Feels like it is something out back but I can't really tell?

Also, my truck is about 200% bumpier than 3 months ago. If I hit a bump, my truck tries to jump off the road, everything in the cab flies from the dash or off the seat, etc. Definitely something up front. I have always driven a truck so am not used to a great ride, but this is ridiculous, almost bone jarring. Also, when I was driving a little off-road the other day, my passenger side front suspension gave a couple huge "clanks" throughout the day. Not every bump, and only on that side.

I do have a small block in the back and a small spacer up front. Not as much as my sig says (shop lied to me) and I have new struts up front (which made it ride better in the beginning) I have never had these problems before and had my level done over a year ago, it all just started.

Any of you with any ideas or experience please respond. By the way, my dealer is horrible and argues with me about everything. Probably something I would have to get checked out by a mechanic before bringing to the dealer. They keep my truck a minimum of 3 days no matter what, I think its their way of preventing my business

Might be a frozen shock. Tire pressure?

Check your sway bar, end links AND the 2 mounts on the frame. Make sure your A arms are tight, upper and especially lower. Check the tie rod ends. We can guess all day long, but you need to go through the basics first and then tell us what you find.

As the Froggy says, you really need to check all the front end components, but if'n I were a betting type guy, my guess would be tie rod end(s)...

jack it up and remove the tire. move the rotor by hand simulating a turn. Look for loose play in the tie rod end. The rod end should move uniformly with the steering knuckle, if not, you have excessive wear in the tie rod end...

the dealer isnt going to help you anyway... you basically voided any kind of suspension warranty with the drop you have... so of course they will agree to anything that relieves them fom having to do warranty work. Although I am sure if you were to customer pay the diagnostic procedures they would be more than happy to look more closely at it.

Well I took a look under there after getting the truck on jackstands (my craftsman jackstands were not tall enough for the frame) and didn't see anything loose or broken. The only thing I saw was the right tie rod end (the clanking one) had bent and scratched the heat shield on the inside of the brake caliper

On another note, the pan at the very back of the tranny (don't know the name, where it joins the axle) was leaking transmission fluid. Don't know when it started, but about a baseball side pool every morning
