Default dash light question

hey y'all, is there a way to change the color of the green dash light stuff? i don't like the green at all, i'm thinking red in a dark grey/black truck would be awesome as hell. is there leds back there that i can switch out?

I think there are only one other color you can make it, because of the plastic it goes through. Not 100 percent on that. There is someone on here that made theirs a diff color. good luck

I think the only other color it can be is blue.... May also be able to get purple is you use a red light behind it... Pictures were posted on here earlier of the blue.

Shame there is not a way to change the overlay

It is actually a combination of the overlay and LED behind I think the overlay is Blue and the light is yellow which produces green... So I think Red would produce a dark purple (think that is how VW get the color) When I paint the truck that is probably one of my mods... That, paint Head lights... Change to HID... replace tail light and third light to LEDS.... I think I understand why my wife did not want me to get a Truck!
