This was the very first mod I did after getting the truck. For whatever reason, I really hate that most trucks don't come with these standard. Trucks look almost unfinished without them. Got mine on eBay for about $90.

They stopped a bunch of standard equipment back in 2002 which came standard on all rams.
Wheel well liners were one of the many changes.

yea I know. it didn't take 2 days after I bought the Ram that I couldn't stand looking at the unlined rear fenders. i know, i know.....a little OCD
I undercoated my whole truck which included spraying inside the fenderwells in the back. So mine looks uniform. The problem I had was that the Liners aren't a true black as they are made out of diff plastics(recycled). They have more of a charcoal-gray look than actual black which was terrible looking when the sun shined in. That is considered OCD....lol
However, i think I'm gonna buy another set and have them LineX'd or something so they are a true black. Only thing is they'll prob grab and hold onto all the dirt? i guess that's what pressure washes are for...haaahahahaa

hmmm, you just gave me a thought.......................my nephew just bought a spray liner that comes out of an aerosol can that would actually work nicely if used to spray the gap guards I have. its actually a decent product, similar to rhino liner, but out of a can!
cuz' you know, i think you're right about the color although I haven't really stared at it enough to notice (that is a little OCD, lol)

I think they are a good idea too; just be sure they will fit if you change your wheel/tire combo. They would not fit with my SRT10 - 22 wheels and the 305/45 tires.
Maybe I was just not lucky?
I installed the fwd rear wheel liners to my 2500 Hemi a couple weeks after purchase '05.
I went to the dealer and purchased a set of the rear rear-wheel liners and found a good size square shape rubber-maid trash container with same color, wall thickness approx as the liners. Why? Because thash container plastic is not sun ray sensitive. Made my own liner set for the fraction of the price.
Tape the factory liners in would be final position and then model with card-bd sheets how the added section should fit with the factor piece to shield any upper fender openings. Cut the plastic container as per the templete. Let the templete overlap the factor piece by at least 1 1/2 inch, then I rivetted the two together. Place the upper on the inside of the lower, twd the wheel. Four RD screws w/nuts would look just as good as the rivets.

I bought some liner at walmart that is almost like bedliner stuff, it might have been called that and spray the wheel wells and the under belly of my truck. Cheaper than wheel well liners.
