hyperpac dyno is sh!t. it says that my 5.7 is only pushing 240 at the rear and 280 at the engine. i have emailed their tech team. this is the first time i have tried it. i knew it wouldn't be accurate but damn man. and that is preformance tuned with their programmer. i though it would read a little better everything else that i can watch is +/- 1 or 2. my butt dyno likes it. i did put it in second from a dead stop and punch it. i have not done this since the day i bought it but it lite up the tires. i dont know if this helped or how much. but when driving easy 65-70 and resetting my overhead. it is staying around 16.4 (after 40 miles of mostly highway)as opposed to the 13.5 i have been showing. i will do a pencil check between this next tank of gas. so far i like it

Does this only work on the HEMI, or would it work on my 5.9?? Where does it plug in?

from the sources this will work on all 2000 and up 3.7, 4.7, 5.7, 5.9 and 6.1 applications. on your intake tube whether it be stock or aftermarket there is a sensor with 2 wires coming off of it. this is your IAT sensor. you will need to cut one of the wires(shouldn't matter which one) and splice this in. you may even be able to use the connector splices so you wont have to cut anything but i could be wrong on that.

Those number are very close to actual Dyno numbers.

Overhead console is never accurate.

if you noticed that your Intake temp went down and your spark advance went up. That means your running More spark for Hot air. Just make sure when your running a programmer and a "powerwire" that your not getting spark knock.

Putting your truck in 2nd instead of drive just runs a different 2nd gear inside the transmission.(or shall i say the sun gear locks up temporarily) It is the excat same gearing so there will be no added benefit other than while your going down the road at 60mph and put the truck in drive from 2nd, that isn't good to do because your going from one gearset to another and it may bang.
