Help! New with water leak!

Hi, newbie here but i have been a long time reader while i was trying to decide what truck to buy. Anyway, I bought a 2004 ram QC last week and after the first rain we got here i noticed the water in the cab. I have searched the forum here for about 2 days but i still couldn't pinpoint my problem.

This only happens when it rains. Water is pooling up under the carpet and door sill mainly in the back driver's side. The wetness goes all the way up front to about even with the pedals, but the front is not near as saturated as the rear. This is only on the driver's side.
I have to park out in the driveway on an incline so the front is up higher than the rear. Also, i have already sealed up the 3rd light and that didn't help at all.
So, do you guys think the water is coming from the back somewhere and it's just getting so wet that it makes its way up front. Or, is it coming from up front somewhere and running to the back since i am sitting on an incline?

Me 2!!!! same place on a single cab cant pinpoint how it is getting in though :/

mine did the same thing when it was new. Run a thin bead of clear silicone down the seam at the rear of the cab. mine was leaking right below the back window. The seal was pinched during assembly, took about a year to start leaking.

Horseapples, was there any evidence of water inside the back glass? I haven't taken off the plastic over the rear pillar yet, but everything appeared to be dry back there. Maybe all the water had already run down to the carpet?

Mine appears to be dripping straight down not going down the glass and no sliding class for me ill try the silicone and tell yall if it worked

Mine was all on the carpet, it is steel behind the rear cab cover. It was running down the steel cab and into the carpet. The cover and the back of the cab are seperated by some space, so the cab cover was not wet. I took all that out, as well as seats and carpet and had my daughter hose the truck down while I watched from the inside. I sealed it inside and out, but the inside was just because I had it all open, I think the outside seam was the problem.

Well i just went outside to look at the seal around the glass. On the driver's side, i can clearly see about an inch of the wire for the rear defroster where it is pinched between the glass and the cab. The passenger side is not like that, so i am thinking this could be the culprit. Should i see if i can push the wire back inside, or should i just try to silicone around it real good?

I dont think pushing the wire will hurt any thing, just be carefull not to stress the glass, it is quite easy to break around the corners. I would seal it with a little silicone after the wire is reset just to make sure.
