yeah if this was a gas truck then it might be a little high miles but a diesel will run easily to 200k and then some if maintained and it sounds like a lot of the problem areas have all been replaced giving you even more miles to work with sounds like a good deal to me

Guess the main question is: Do you NEED a diesel?

ReefGuy, Get someone to run you a current CarFax on the VIN. Some of those items you listed, seemed to be a little too soon for replacement unless it was used to haul heavy equip for the state for six years. I wonder what the rear end is singing?
My brother's '05 gas v10 van w/auto just rolled past 280k, no hint of any on coming troubles.
The truck you described sounds like one of the white ones I see everyday around here. It may be 900 miles from you but it could be in the yard next door of any one of this sites members that could do a look-see for you. That is a long way to be crap-shooting.

I just saw the pic. It looks as if it has the snow plow hook points all ready to go to work. Where did the big-stuff replacement parts come from? Dealer installed? I would insist on seeing all paper work done by certified installers.
