Because the company that grinds the H/o cams which all of the other 4.7 performance cams are "re-ground" from stopped grinding them because of "no demand for the product." At-least that is how I understand all of it.

I find it hard to believe that there is no demand for those cams.

i have a 2005 dakota with the 4.7 all my mods are listed, 180t stat, napa part 530080, 410 gears from presicion gearing, 4 x 4, k/n intake with the iat sensor relocated, e - fan, single 3 inch catback exhaust with a larger y-pipe, sct tuning by marty from krc performance, hemi 125 shot of nitrous, 70 mm tb from dan the fastman. 206 cams also from marty, there are a few sites to check out, airram.com and krcperformance.com, both are great people and their tuning is alot better than sc or hypertech, also i have pics in my gallery

Default Y-Pipe

Thanks for the great information. I do have a superchips tuner, that I didn't really see a difference with, but I did resize my tires a little which helped with the shift points.

I also cut my exaust off right at my CC. Added a glass pack with a turn down for a little back pressure. This seemed to have helped performance quite a bit.

I don't understand the Y-Pipe thing. I assume you are talking about for the exaust, but I don't see a Y-Pipe.

Does anyone know if you can use the Superchips 3865 on more than one vehicle? I've heard that you can only use it on one vehicle, but not sure. I have a 4.7L and my brother has the hemi, can we share one?

actually i have one, and i would like to know for sure too, cuz i was told i should be able too, cuz i am putting a hemi in place of my old 4.7, so i also have a new computer, and i wanted to use my superchips again to re-tune the hemi's computers, so does anyone know for sure, ill know as soon as my harness is done, but that might be a few days till i get the swap done!
