All of that you mention you shouldnt need any manual for. Just pop the dash up and replace the speakers. If its the doors then take all of they screws out and the one behind the door handle.

Im sure you know how to remove a spark plug and replace it as well as change plug wires. Just do one at a time and you will be ok.

As for the battery isolator, Ive got 2 in the shop so if you are interested in one (or two) just LMK.

Normally how they work is there are 3 terminals. The two bigger terminals have the (+) from each battery going to them. The smaller terminal gets a switched 12v to it from the fuse box or any other accessory. It only energizes the contacts inside when you flip the key which in turn closes the contacts so the 12v from the main battery flows into the aux battery. The casing or chassis of the isolator itself is metal so screw it to metal so it is grounded.

weedahoe:
One question regarding the isolator. I know it has a rely inside so in won't over charge the batteries. Also as one of the batteries is the main, and the other one is the auxiliary, does the one you have has a override switch just in case one is discharged you could choose the other one to start the truck?

I am new at this. I am trying ti install a audio system to my truck and just to be safe a second battery that is going to give power to the audio system and to start the truck if needed.

The isolators I have do not have internal regulators. Thats the job of the alt. You aux battery will no more overcharge than your main battery would.

Again, mine dont have a switch either. You normally wouldnt need a switch to combine them or bridge the terminals because even with a dead main battery, there will be enough juice in it to power the isolator and colse the contacts so the aux batgtery will kick in.
