Default 4-Function Tailgate LED Light Bar

I am looking into getting one of these tailgate light bars, its made by Pacer, its on sale at jcwhitney for $54. Does anyone know anything about these or does anyone have one? And if anyone does how do you like it. It looks neat with the brake light and the turn signals but I am still trying to do some thinking on it.

ive only ever seen them on trucks where the regular taillights where shaved out. i have however seen the light bar that just acts as an extra taillight/4th brake light. but you dont need all the extra blinkers in my opinion.

Do you have any pics of it on? How did you get around the hole thats right underneath and a little to the right of the tailgate?

I'm not sure what you mean by hole underneath the tailgate but on my old ford it stuck on with dual sided tape. Unfortunatly the tape that came on it sucked and the thing kept coming loose so I bought some 3m double sided tape and pretty much ran it the entire length of the light and it never came off again. I spliced the wires into my 4 pin harness that way I could still use the connector while useing the light.

I found this..

That hole is where you lower the spare from, you insert the crank and crank it down. The plastic ring needs to come off (I tossed mine away) and the light bar goes over it. Then if you ever have to drop the spare you need a philips head screw driver to remove the light bar from the sticky tabs that it is mounted on. DO NOT hard wire it in, just plug it into your four way trailer light so you can pop it off and toss it in the back of the truck with the flat tire and rim and put it on in daylight when its not raining and you are not on the side of the toll-way (those are the conditions when you usually get flats). Well worth the money in my opinion and you can install it in about fifteen minutes. Hop this helps.

I thought the hole he was talking about is the drainage hole for the bed....

Nope its under the bed surface on the passenger side. Also, put some di-electric grease in the 4 way plug to prevent corrision and maybe even throw some electrical tape over the whole connection. Corrosion can be a problem, believe me.
