Go to Flowmasters website and check the sound file for the Super 40. I still pee in my pants from excitement whenever I start my truck.

Do your research as i said in another post what is it your looking for. You state sound is what your looking for, well if you save your money you can get a descent cat back system that gives you both performance and that aggresive sound your looking for. Personally I spent $1800.00 on my TRUE dual Magnaflow sytem to include headers. It's truely up to you how far your willing to go, but do your research and do it right the first time cause if you don't one you'll regret it and two your wasteing your money. Hope this helps let us know how it goes.

I'll say the Super 40's. I have the 40 series on my truck with the stock resonator. Not that loud at idle, but sounds great at any throttle. Here is a link to a video when I first got it: Clicky

I also have the 30 series on my Chevelle that sound good, but won't be as loud on a 'small' hemi. The hushpower's I believe are a step quieter.

Hemitough, why would you go with a 4" system? That is way to big for such a small motor. My opinion is a 3" is a little on the big side too, but that's me. Bigger is not better when it comes to exhaust. An engine needs backpressure to run right. At 4", the exhaust gasses will lose velocity and the scavenging ability will greatly decrease. This will kill all low-end torque. Stay with the 3", it will be better.

And as for the muffler, stay on teh street side of Flowmaster's site. Most of those mufflers are designed for racing classes where either mufflers are needed, or a slight reduction in decibels is required. You will get pulled over every time you go out. If you want loud, look into the straight through mufflers, such as Borla or Magnaflow. I prefer the Super 40's from FM. But thats just my opinion.

well guys i went and got the flowmaster 10 series put on today and they sound awsome, their not rediculous sounding like i thought they would be. anf for only 100 bucks it sounds bad a$$. So if you want loud exhaust i prefer that i promise you will not regret it. thanks for your suggestions though..
