I have my RT lowered with the eibach pro kit (1.5 - 1.75").
I am on 255/40/R20"s. I did at one time have 22" rims but i did'nt like the pimped out look
and also did not want the higher risk of rim damage from pot holes.

I personally like my current look. To go any lower on the springs would put my tires inside the top of my wheel well.
I only wanted to get rid of the big gap above my tire.

Hahahahahaha that's rather amusing actually. Truth be told, when you lower ANY car, you actually reduce the need for a larger wheel. Eliminating wheel well gap reduces the need for the larger wheels not to mention makes it more dangerous to run those larger wheels. If you want pictures of Mags on 20's....simply look at an SRT-8....

Here ya go...something to remember is all these cars are lowered about 1.5 to 2.5 inches. Also, I believe there is an issue with rubbing on the suspension on 22" wheels on the front. I know its an issue....just not sure specifically what all it involves. Definitely look into it....

Love the look Magmania! I am in the same boat as you. I have 255/45-20 Nitto's on my Magnum but I still haven't lowered it yet. Just hesitant because I dont want to have anything rub. Have you had that problem at all? Also how hard was it to install the springs and if you had someone do it how much? One other question since I have put my 20's on my TPS sensor flashes. I recently purchased the Flashpaq Power programmer but I can't seem to find the right diameter to eliminate this problem. Any suggestions w/out just removing the light?

Your TPS sensor is probably in your stems. If you did not have them taken off the original stems then your TPS is going off because there is no sensor. I have this with my other car. The sensor does not fit on my summer wheels, so I left them on the original. The TPS flashes during the summer and then quits as soon as I put the orginals on for the winter.

Hey Yates, I had the same concerns as you about lowering the vehicle. I was afraid i'd take a brand new car and open up a can of headache.
I took the chance and never had any problems (other than hitting a freeway pot holes at 70+ mph).
I ordered the springs directly from eibach ($280) and had the dealer make the swap. If i remember correctly they charged me either $500 or $800
(i realize that's kind of a broad range but my memory is not what it once was) and they kept it for the entire day.

I have'nt had any rubbing issues with my 20's but when i had 22's there was a slight groove waring into my front tires. When it was sitting still there was about 1/4"
of room between the top of the rubber and that nasty bolt in the wheel well. I was told that what was probably happening was the tire diameter expands some when
it's spinning as opposed to when it's not. Make's sense to me. However i did'nt feel comfortable with this being as i tend to drive at higher than normal speeds.
That's one of the reasons why i went back down to 20's.

And as far as the TPS(?), i never had that indicator come on and did not have to do any reprogramming.

I recommend lowering the vehicle. The lowered stance is 100 times better looking than the stock look. It's a much more beefy look.
Good Luck with your future mods! Mods are very addicting.
