Grille crosshairs painted
So after some thought and a suggestion from another forum member, Shibby927, I've finally taken a shot at painting the crosshairs on my grille black with plasti-dip. I did it with the grille installed on the truck so I had a little extra fun with masking the area and inserts. There's a few spots that got screwed up a little when it came time to pull the tape off but having a sharp razor blade made things a little easier. I'm going to look into either getting a small plasti-dip dipping can and use a brush to make touch ups or in time I may just rip the current coat off, remove the grille and inserts, and paint it off the truck for an easier, cleaner job.
And for pictures...oh yea, you can't really tell in these pictures but earlier this week I painted the chrome piece of the ram head with plasti-dip and background with dupli-color's oem paint color for my truck.

That looks wicked man! Glad my suggestion helped you out! Best thing about Plasti-Dip is that it's not permanent and you can redo it as many times as you want. If anything it gives a you a good idea of what the crosshairs would look like painted so if you like it you'll be able to make the decision to go with the permanent job. Good work!
