Default Alarm/Horn going off for no reason

I have a 2009 Sport with all the options.
One being the alarm.

The alarm went off this morning and would not shut off.
Tried evey button on the fob. Got in it and cranked the thing. Put in drive and ran it to the end of my driveway.
Alarm never stopped. By alarm I mean flashing light blaring hown...very annoying.

Now the dam truck has gone off 4 more times while I am in the den.

Now its battery is dissconnected!!

Has anyone experienced this. I am beyond sick of problems with this truck.
Remote start does not work....again. Door locks take 10 or so presses of the key fob. both open and lock
NOTHING DIABLES THE ALARM.
No reason for it to go off.

and I had this remote start installed by Dodge.
I have 4 keys, all do the same..nothing or hardly nothing. Will start the truck...horn blowing and lights flashing.
None will shut the alarm off.

Thanks
Pissed off owner

Mine came with remote start and the alarm and the only time it has gone off is when the fob won't unlock the doors and I have to use the key to unlock the door. Then I just start it with the fob and the alarm goes off.

Sounds like the dealer must of screwed something up with their install or didn't activate it properly. I'd take it back to them since they did the work. Might of messed up the software in the computer.

Hope you get it worked out.

Apparantly its a bad key fob.

It sat for a few hours with the positive battery cable disconnected.

Had to have the truck. Put the cable back on.
Put the key in and it said bad key on the diplay.

Grabbed the other key with remote start and it worked. All functions work.
Still going to the dealer for the 6th time in 3500 miles Monday.

None of the keys would work to shut the alarm off. When you have remote start added by mopar you get two more keys with the start button.

Its has already been at the dealers for 3 days while they diagnosed the remote start failing. They figured that out. Had to use an older software?
Was not saving to the hard drive. 3 days..the remote start should be fixed.
It is remote starting again...now.
I have that bad key in a drawer in the bedroom futherest from the garage.
Been 2 hours, no alarm. Knock on wood.

All seems fine now but I want my software looked at and Dodge has to get me a new key..and they want to check all 4 of mine.
I suspect reseting the computer helped too. It never said bad key before.
That key was fine this morning.
Just odd, taking it in. Let them scratch their heads.

I like all the gadgets on this truck but. This one has to much going on.
I hate the ESP in this truck. 390 hp..90 to the rear tires at launch.

I suspect the truck is supposed to alarm when you use the metal key.
Pick the lock, same thing.
Leave the window down and lock it, set the alarm.
Reach in and unlock it. Alarm will go off.
Break a window out and unlock it. Alarm will go off.

What I described was not normal. Did you read I cranked it and drove it and the alarm never stopped going off.
