Can someone please tell me what the largest tire size I can go with (without rubbing) on a 22 inch wheel? My truck is a CC 4x4 at stock height. I want to keep the ride quality and the guy at the tire store said 305/45/22 is the biggest I can go. Is this correct?
Honestly though, while waiting for my leveling kit I tossed on the 315/70r17's on with no issues. They were damn close though, not sure how much flexing I could do. The tires you stated are 32.8 diameter vs mine at 34.4. So that is probably about right, you might get a bit bigger but I have no idea what size 22's come in. A 315/45r22 would come in at 33.2 if they make them and may fit with some rubbing.
