I haven't done it, my truck came with them. I guess my question for you is, does your bumper or cover have the cut-outs for the lights. I would guess that would be the hardest part of doing it. The wiring I, would assume, would come with the light switch and relay. My old Dak had that kit.
i know I didn't answer your question, but hope I gave a little insight.
Ya i'm assuming that two... It's fairly simple, i think the hardest part would be taking the fust panel apart, and taking a harness apart to add two wires into the plug... even that is fairly simple though... Be aware, you have to get the dealer to 'activate' these fogs
i didn't install them but i had them installed at the dealer took them about 45 minutes to do, i have pictures on dt forum of what it looks like (day/night). They put out pretty good light and function the same as factory ones. You need to switch your light switch and cut out some cut outs for the lights in the front they go just below your lisence plate a few inches to either side.
the switch comes with the kit you just have to put it in it looks identical to your old one other then you push in to get the fogs to come on and a greent lights lights up on your dash telling you there on.
Thanks for all the reply's, im waiting for the kit to arrive and if i decide to install them on my own i will post info on installation. Doe's anyone know if you take the plastic piece in the bumper out and leave it out or do you cut holes in it where the lights go?
I left the plastic peice in but cut holes in it, looks a lot cleaner, but had to do lots of trial and error in cutting... At the time i installed the tow hooks too, again, just cut the plastic to go around them. I've seen a few installed by dealer, and they just trash the plastic thing...
I had my done at the dealer because they had to go on the computer anyways, it took them 2 hours labour so approx. 200$ with taxes Cdn. They told me it would be an hours labour just for the computer setup.
