Cant help but throw MO in on this one, had an airraid on my 04, not a lick of difference until put the superchips programmer on it. I am sure the minute amount of space it adds might contribute to stack effect on air velocity (very slight, unlike the stacks of old school hot rods) but to say the spiral grooves cut into the side causes an increased swirl in the incoming air, I would say , just MHO. Now if you have $$$ to burn, go buy one w/o a CAI, throw $$$ at a dyno before and after install and see what you have, then throw more $$$ at a CAI, dyno before and after install, then take the TB out leave CAI in and dyno again, I am sure your local dyno shop will be happy with the $$$, but its the only real way to tell on your vehicle whether your getting something or not. You guys want increase in HP at the local gas station, find one that has good ole etoh free fuel add octane boost to it and run baby run, quick and easy no warranty problems.

had one on my 71 nova.

spacers are really for carbureted engines. it allows the air and fuel to mix better before entering the engine. cant say I could see it doing much on a EFI

MDRAM43 is correct.Throttle body spacers only work on carb engines or throttle body injected.( the injectors are in the throttle body) It does nothing for a port injected engine.Nothing.

Headers,Cold air intake, modified throttle body and a performance download you got a whole different feeling truck. I did such to my 1998 1500 R/C with 318. Plus I did a set of Harlan Sharp 1.7 Roller Rockers which added 18 hp. It wasn't a fire breather but it sure woke it up.www.harlandsharp.com Dosen't appear they have any for new style Hemis.Curious if they are working on them.

Here's what can be done to a 98 Ram, 360 engine, M1 intake, bored throttle body, R/T cam, heads, Powerdyne blower and LOTS more. Guess I should mention it had Mustang fuel injectors, since the Mopar ones wouldn't hold. It would fly!
