Default Time For New Tires

I'm about ready for my first tire replacement. I have the factory 20" laramie wheels. Any suggestions?

Getting close to 30,000. I was looking at the Michelin LTX M/S2. I think they have have a 70,000 warranty.

Do you have 2wd or 4wd? What look are you going for? If you want to stay close to Stock look at Bridgestone Dueler Alenza's I hand them on my 2009 2wd and they looked great. I think I went with 275/55/20 and they cost me about $800 installed. If your looking for All Terrain's one has to consider the BF Goodrich All Terrain's. I have never really heard any compliants, except from the people that where looking for Mud tires and bought All terrains instead. Other then that everyone seems to like them.

I am at 22K and in the 30s is where you will change. I made 30K on my 05 and they has some life left in them. I plan to go till spring next year which will put me around 32-35.

The rear Goodyears on my Ram wore down to the wear bars by 13,000 miles.
I NEVER laid scratch once because my TM and LSD prevented it (until I got my programmer at 20K or so). I did not rotate them because the garage monkeys always scratch my rims. I finally rotated them myself at 20K. Interestingly enough, the front ones are darn near perfect. The compound in the Goodyears is cr*p and does not stand up to what the Hemi can dish out. I went to the Goodyear dealer last weekend and showed them to him and his first 4 excuses were Dodge trucks are the hardest on tires (WTx????),
I did not rotate them, they were not inflated properly, and there is NO warranty on tires that come from the factory on new vehicles. He then proceeded to tell me they are discontinuing them because of premature wear and other issues. Apparently only Dodge trucks have problems with Goodyears, nobody ever rotates them, they are all over inflated and only factory tires go bad. After this run around he offered to sell me some "better" Goodyears at a "discount" for my trouble. I told him I won't buy Goodyear again based on my problem with the tires and Goodyears (his) response response to it. I do know I am not the only one who has had issues with these junk tires. Looking at Coopers right now.
