Highway Whistling Sound

Highway Whistling Sound
Hey everyone - long time no talk. I have recognized that when my truck is on the highway driving over 60mph, a very loud whistling "North Pole" sound begins to infiltrate the cab. My brother's previous 2010 Ram did the same thing. Does anybody else experience this annoyance? And if so - is Dodge doing anything to fix this?
Thanks!
Thanks!

Does it sound like it's a door seal noise? If so, close the passenger door and from the outside tape the joint with some kind of easy to take off tape (blue painters) and drive it and see if it goes away. Try all of the doors until you eliminate the doors. Another source are the mirrors, my previous truck had a loud whistle at speed that drove me crazy. I isolated it to the drivers mirror by stuffing foam in the swivel joint space that made the noise go away. The dealer thought I was crazy until I took them for a drive and they replaced it under warranty.

Some good tips there Pedro. I'm suffering from the exact same noise in my 2010, but pinpointing where it's coming from has been a challenge, as I have a unilateral hearing loss that makes it hard to pinpoint direction. Like the OP, mine too occurs at highway speed, but putting just a microscopic crack in the driver's window causes it to go away. - Almost as if the window could be binding and/or bowing at full (tight) closure and causing a tiny gap that's causing the whistle. If I 'back-off' the driver's window just an RCH (window stiill completely closed, just not tightly) the whistle is gone.
I'm still under original 3/36 warranty, but hesitant to take it to the dealer until I'm certain where the noise is coming from. The painter's tape seems like it'd be a great idea.

I have a 2009 dodge ram 1500, that had a wind noise or whistling noise when going highway in a cross wind i would hear it most. to fix it i took it to the dealer, and hope you have a good one, since they put an RRT out for the 3/4 and 1 ton trucks. basically they put a block of foam in the door to make it go away. Since my dealer is good about it they did it even tho its not for my truck. Hope that helps.
