Default Which offset - 33x12.5R18 2.5" level

Hey All,

I want to make sure I'm getting this right. I have a 2010 Ram 4x4, and I have a 2.5" front and 1" rear level kit already on hand. I plan on purchasing 18" wheels with 33 or 35" tires - still undecided. What offset do I need for clearance? I'm looking for them to stick out from the fenders a little bit, but no rubbing issues. 0 offset? -12? +20? Whats best?

Thanks!

Well, I would usually go with the 4.5" backspacing, it sticks out just right. i just recently bought wheels and tires and forgot to ask for a specific offset and the guy didn't ask. It turns out that they have a 0 offset. I went with 35/12.5R20 and they turned out beautiful, and I only have a 2" leveling kit. They stick out of the fenders just a bit. Hope this helps.

Thanks, your truck looks great! Any rubbing issues? Did you use spacers?

No rubbing at all and I hate the idea of spacers. Unless they are billet ( machined ) then they can cause balance and rotation issues.

I just put on new rims, 20x10 fuel Mavericks, -22 offset. Stick out a tad, but looks good, no rubbing and give me more room up front away from the control arm. You could get away with a -10 offset. I. Glad I went with more. I'm running 35x12.5x20 Nitto Trails. Very pleased. I'm running a 4" rough country suspension lift as well.
