Default Back to Dodge from Ford

My last dodge purchase was in 2004.I bought a brand new 2004 dodge 2500 quad cab with the 5.9 cummins diesel, owned it until 2011 bought a new ford F250 lariat with the 6.2 gas motor.Traded for a Ford f-150 super crew cab. This weekend we purchased a new 2016 dodge 2500 crew cab laramie with 6.4 Hemi and 3.73 gear.Hope it holds up as well as my 2004 dodge did.

I'd like to ask why you went from Dodge to Ford?

The reason I ask is because I did the same thing. I had an 04 2500 Quad Cab 4x4. I went to the ford for two reasons, the 2500 doesn't offer the Quad Cab but the crew which is 10 inches longer and my dealer insulted me with trade in valve. The ford dealer gave me over $3K more for trade.

I can't stand the 6.2L Ford, and will be back to Dodge maybe sooner then later. How does everyone like the rear coils for towing.

Thanks in advance

Love the rear coils. Actually the best of both worlds - very smooth when not hauling or towing but dosent sag at all towing 7700 lbs...

IHMO,I just liked they way the 2016 ram 2500 rode, handled, interior seems to be nicer than ford or chevy.I also like the 6.4 hemi verses the 6.2 in the ford.I did not like the way the azz end of my ford F250 squated when I hooked up my trailer. The dodge IMHO is more truck like verses ford or chevy.
