Question 2011 Ram 1500 5.7L 3" Leveling kit?

Hey guys, I have a 2011 Ram 1500 5.7L 4WD Quad cab and was wondering about a 3" Leveling kit. From what I can gather it seems like people are saying stay away from it, but I already ordered it thinking it would be okay since they sell them (Maybe a bit naive). Will I be able to put 3" on the front and 1.5" on the back and get an alignment without ruining my ball joints, etc..?

Really appreciate any feedback, Thanks!

Biggest issue will be your CV joints being outside the range they should be operating in.

CV joints. Got it. So I guess I will look into some of those and hopefully install them myself. Thanks for the reply!

follow up... so I've had a 3" puck installed up front and I've notcied a small squeak that has developed... after further investigation.. I've determined that it is coming from the top of the shock.. looks like the angle is causes a slight squeak... I will be upgrading to an after market replacement leveling strut in the spring... cv joints seem to be holding up well!
