My truck got a new seat and then sat in the garage for 8 days.
The prefforated material returned to original.
I suspect a way a person is built has alot to do with the abnormal wear. I am 6'-0 180lbs.
I looked as I was sitting in it. 95-100 percent of my torso's weight is on the prefforated material.
I suspect a larger rear would spread the load better.
I am serious!, not offending anyone.
That would explain some not having problems while others are....its the same material and its not leather.

Blue, you may have a point there. My butt is a little wider than the guy that's in shape and I fill the whole seat when sitting in it. The leather is only the trim around the seat bottom itself. Try this, take a clean damp sponge, not dry and not dripping, and wipe the wrinkled area down until it's damp, then let it dry in the wind/sun if possible. I've had boots/shoes that have gotten damp then shrunk so bad I couldn't wear them anymore. They wouldn't even stretch out again. This is just a suggestion so if you don't feel comfortable doing this then don't do it. I'm just thinking most apolstry material is preshrunk but maybe the new supplier isn't doing this step properly. Just a thought. Jeff.

Blue2050, Add another complaint to your list! I have a 09 Laramie, 3mos old with 2k miles with the heated/cooled front seats. I'm 5'8", 175lbs and the driver seating surface is stretched, wrinkled and ugly. Just sent a complaint to Chrysler noting my disappointment.

Just that is admitting there is a problem.
Just came across this and now i'm a little worried. My truck was built early, so if y'all are having this problem, I'm sure I will as well, but I only have 820 miles so far and no problems yet. If you keep getting it replaced every 3k miles or so then the dealers & Chrysler will get fed up and finally do something about it. Since a lot of this truck's design was done while Mercedes was in charge, I'm guessing the original leather chosen was of higher quality and then when Cerberus was in charge they found something cheaper to go with and now they're having problems. I love my heated/cooled seats and center console - they're almost the reason I bought the truck (cooled seats are great in TX), but I'm going to be pissed if I have to keep taking the truck in.

Material (seats, carpet, etc) is covered under the Paint/Interior lifetime warranty that is $800.
So thats an added option to the lifetime maxcare? Any other options i dont know about. They should really have added everything to the maxcare like the leahter since its called MAXCARE. Their choices of words are misleading.
