i have had my 2008 dodge ram 5.7 hemi to the dealer and they say they dont feel anything abnormal.The dealer cant fix what they dont feel(so they say ) my dealer has spent a lot of time trying but the dodge rep. wont even look at it because he dealer says if they cant find it he wont either.So i removed gas pedal and the bracket under the dash and put rubber to slow the vibration down it worked a little better than nothing.

I have 2009 sport 5.7 hemi, non-adjust pedals. I don't have the vibration and I hope I don't get it. I removed the big metal body mount dampeners when I installed the nerf bars. I have the Luverne and they mount to the body mounts. Maybe there's more metal there now so it dampening the vibration even more or does a better job with the harmonic distortion?
Well, either it has gotten better or I got used to it. I don't notice it anymore. Maybe it is a break-in issue on my truck. Have 3400 miles. I can understand the dealer not being able to notice it. I think you would have to drive the truck all the time to notice. My wife could not feel it. I don't know what they could even do if they did. Vibration issues are very hard to track down. My luck they would tell me they fixed it and it would be worse.
Hello everyone, I had the same problem with my 09 big horn edition (5.7 hemi). It started as a slight vibration in the gas pedal, usually at 35-45 mp, and gradually got worse, till it was a surging vibration, felt through the gas pedal, floorboard, steering wheel etc. when I got my first oil change I asked the tech to drive it, he felt it as well and asked me to bring it back the following day. He spend all day looking for the problem, and finally found out that it was a bad axle bearing. He changed it out the next day, and vibration is gone. I called and talked to the service manager a couple weeks prior, and asked about the vibration, and he gave me the harmonics talk, and also said it was part of the electronic throttle, and said it was normal. But this isnt normal, maybe they got a bad batch of bearings, and we all have the same issue. So if you guys are still having vibration issues, i suggest taking it to the dealer, and telling them to look at your axle bearing. It definitely fixed my issue. I hope this helps.
Front or rear? I was thinking it could have been the front spindles too. Just didn't want the local dealer f-in around with my truck. Was waiting to take it to the "good" one. . .

Thanks for the info on the wheel bearing. Its funny you brought that up i had a axle seal replaced on my front axle and the vibration went away then came back. Can you find out for sure if it was the rear or front thanks again
And once again that is funny you say that, cause mine seems to slowly be coming back. But now it is at various MPH and RPMs. Im gonna take it back soon and keep everyone posted.
There are times that it acts like a bearing or a rotor. Braking and turning seem to effect the feedback of the vibration. It is very rare to have a bearing problem and most rotor problems are from hard stops and use. Mine has been making the vibs since I got it. As the engine has gotten more miles on it, it seems to have less harmonic tones during the worse RPM ranges.
I have a 08 Quad Cab 4x4 (Bighorn package) with the Hemi and I have a similar issue. Just bought the truck with 24k miles on it and notice it the more I have driven it. Seems like mine is much worse when I am turning right...
