I am paraplegic and when we first were looking at my truck it is a sport with 20" I thought **** this is too high I will never get into it, So the dealer thought we could swap some 17" wheels instead he just brought truck around with 17"s the seat was the same height as the one with 20"s...if different was not 3 inches maybe one, put it this way was not any help to me. So I think there might be something there lifting the trucks with smaller rims.? Don't have any real evidence.

Not sure but I thought that the tire diameter is around the same for all wheel sizes. Just some have more side wall than others???

As I was reading through the service manual I found this.
The spacer I feel may just be the upper spring isolater. It is the part that goes between the spring and perch. I wonder if the TRX-4 has a taller one than the regular 4x4's.
Yeah I thought that was a spacer at first but further investigation showed its not... I will have to goto the dealer and check out an SLT. I did email Dodge directly and am waiting for a reply, I stressed that accurate information is important.
There is only one company that has advertised a difference between the models and warned publicly about using the spacer kit on a TRX. I meant to call Rough Country today, to get there take and I will be POed if they tell me to take the kit off considering they specifically told me it wouldn't be a problem.
This same topic is going on over at *********, and a member over there has found that apparently the strut used on the TRX is longer than the strut used on the SLT. This may be the difference.
