NOTE: This Service Action affects both sold and unsold vehicles.
NOTE: The VIN List is available on DealerCONNECT for all affected dealers. The
VIN List has been inserted in the Service Tab under Rapid Response
Transmittals. The dealers receiving the Rapid Response Transmittal Service
Action are the “Ship To” dealers and the VIN’s listed are specific to their
dealership
. All involved vehicles will be loaded into the VIP system.
DISCUSSION:
A number of vehicles were shipped that may require the addition of two-sided tape to
the inboard edge of the tailgate spoiler to prevent it from being torn off during cargo
unloading. Dealers are required to inspect for a tailgate liner and if necessary add twosided
tape.

Wonder what the cut off production date will be on this one. Mine was built late enough thatI only had one, the axle breather tube. Guess I will have them run the VIN when I have the climante control flash recall done.
you can go to the official dodge site and go to owners and put in your vin and find out any and all that pertains to your vehicle.
Not sure if that covers RRTs or not. It does cover recalls, that is for sure, but they do not make it clear on RRTs.
By the way my truck does not have the climate control recall, does anyone else pull that recall? Maybe I am also outside that window. Then again, since they are not doing that until June it may not show up yet.
I broke mine off shortly after receiving my new truck. I have since had it Line-X'd which loosened it a little more. Then the whole thing blew-off the truck somewhere, although I'm not sure where as it was missing when I got home one day. My local Dodge Dealer replaced it free of charge but did NOT install the double-sided sticky tape because I had the Line-X done (not really sure what this has to do with it). No biggie, installing my own today.
yeah, i just went and looked at it. i will be installing my own "mopar brand" double sided tape. lol. j/k.
when they linex'd my tailgate they went right up to the inside edge of the plastic tailgate cap. you can easily pry the cap with little pressure from your fingers. it will probably take `10min. to do the job right with some good tape. for me its not worth taking it up to the dealer for who knows how long to put a little tape on.
i could see how this would be a big deal if you just had the stock tailgate surface. i just noticed my linex takes the tailgate almost flush with the plastic lip..
