Mine showed up today. It had the HD part number on it and all the hardware is powder coated. (except the clamps) Definitly aluminum cover.
Their packaging sucks and both rails were bent at the attachement end since they go from one end of the box to the other with no padding. I was able to straighten them out though.
About 10 minutes to install, fits well, but I'm wondering about water leakage at the leading edge since the seal does not seem to sit down on the bed rail there.

ok, 10 min. took me 2 hrs.!!! lol. im not trying to sound cocky but i am in a trade and am very mechanical. that being said. the directions were for ****. and on a QUAD CAB, or at least mine. if you measure across the bed. between the front and the back the bed tapered 3inches!!!! put it this way. my bolts up front wouldnt even fit in the holes. so i had to take the rails off again. basically i took all of the little spacers off. put 2 on top of each other in front and that evened out the gap. or at least put the bolts on center up front. it fits ok now, but it was a crappy install for me.

No shims on the Crew cab. Just shove the rails on, and crank down the clamps

I have the Bakflip G2 and a bed rug. I have blasted it from all sides with the wand at the car wash and it has been through many rainstorms. Maybe, just maybe a few drops get in but I am very satisfied with the seal. I just hope the rubber edges hold up to the weather and sunlight.

What does your seal look like at the front of the bed? Is it sticking up on both outside edges, or down flush with the front rail? Mine sticks up some from the front rail - due to there being no plastic bedrail up there to match the ones on the side and tailgate.
As for the seal, I'd plan on applying some seal conditioner once in a while to keep it from drying out and cracking. Even in MN, the entire lid gets hot as heck when the sun comes out. Be nice if you could get the lid in white.

Pressure washed the truck today and the only water I got in the bed was where I was spraying directly at the raised seal in the front (1500 psi tip) Even doing that only resulted in a tiny bit of water.
