No sir, I have not had opportunity to weigh my Ram yet, not sure where I can do that. I would *really* like to know what it weighs because I have searched the net for curb weight of a 09 HEMI RCSB 4X4 and I cannot find it anywhere. Based on the fact that the curb weight of the R/T is listed as 4779and adding another 300-350lbs for a 4x4 and I guess we are right around 5000lbs? The Tundra does well off the line but it was obvious to me the Hemi has the advantage as the RPMs go up. I have not been to the track yet but will be trying that later this summer. In my opinion, there is little if any MPG disadvantage with the 3.92's esp. in town because the engine seems well centered in its sweet spot. The 3.92's are worth every penny as a $375 option, they just make the overall engine response seem really crisp. I did test drive a few 09's with 3.55's and 20 inch wheels and they did feel more sluggish off the line.

Yes Sir, but I still like the 09 Rams. One of the guys in my SOVA truck club has a Copper Q/C and it is sweet.

I wont race off the light anymore for fear of slamming into an old Rolls Royce, even if the opponent calls me "chicken". Dont want to have to get into the Delorean and repair my future.

Dodge lists the weight for a RCSB SLT 4x4 as 4918lbs (an ST is 4893lbs). http://www.dodge.com/hostc/vsmc/vehi...Code=CUD200913

One way to get an exact weight is look for a truck stop on an interstate somewhere. A lot of them have scales that you could weigh your truck on.

I am dissappointed with the 3 55's. It just does not feel like 390 HP. What all do I have to do with a 4x4 to change the gears don't the front and back have to match or how does that all work?

keep the 3.55s, its not a big difference and its certainly not worth the money to change unless you need a drastic gear change for something. These trucks don't feel like 390hp because they're not.

Im not sure you could call what Blown287 has a dakota anymore. Hes added so many really cool parts to it i think its in its own catagory now
Blown, how hard is it to tune one and get the mixture right after adding a blower with that much boost? Ive read (i have no blower experience) that if not tuned right they can run lean (also read lean is BAD, like blow it up BAD) at different parts of the power band.
Thanks
Lee

72Combo, the 355 isnt limited slip is it? If not i would change to a 392 for that alone, Our truck needs a 355 gear like it needs a drag chute. Your never going to drive fast enough to get the use of a 355 gear so why not use that power getting off the line.

Im not sure i agree with that, between 4-5.5k rpm they pull pretty hard, the problem is the computer and tranny computer make it very hard to stay in the powerband. Still waiting on my programmer. And damnit if it dosent have 390hp after that im going to slap a blower on the damn truck.
