Default Finally - Tundra down!

Have tried several times to get a Tundra to run me but no takers. Tonight I got my chance, caught up to a 5.7L Tundra and a red light. I was prepared for a close contest - it wasn't really. We both hit it same time and I can report his 6 speed and his gears did him absolutely no good. It might have been close for the first few seconds and then it was all Hemi all the way and it got progressively worse for him as we went on. My tail lights well in his view by 50ish I shut it down at 60. He caught up and flew by, but it was pointless. Near as I can tell it was a QC (smaller back door) and a 2WD. Aside from a K&N drop in, I am all stock.

Yeah man, I think you might need more than a K&N to take out a Vette, lol. I ran a GTO a couple weeks back, before gears and smaller pulley. I had him to 110 and he nudged past me.

Yes but he musta been in some kind of quandry up to 110 as he was getting beat by...gulp....a truck. I think if I buy some chrome valve stems for my tires I then I will be ready to take out an 09 Vette.......

LOL, still a good kill on the Tundra man. I'm not sure the valve stems will help, lol.

where did you get the pulley from. I have not seen an underdrive set out yet.

He has a 4.7 dakota not an 09 ram. Hemirom have you been able to weigh your truck yet? Aside from gears our trucks are identical. Also have you been to the track yet? Im wondering if the performance gain from 3.92s is worth the offset in mpg.

Glad to hear someone is having some success I just got owned by a Mercedes M55 AMG. I was real disappointed until I got home and read up on that car. 342 HP and 150 MPH top end not to mention MUCH lighter than me......
