Default For those who's key fob stops working....

This is in regards to the post that on a rare occasion your key fob will not work (unlocking the truck).

The question is..... Do you have remote start?

It happened for the 2nd time to me yesterday. I tried the unlock 4-5 times with no success. I then wondered if remote start work work. I press the start button two times. No go. But as soon as I did that the unlock worked.

So now I am wondering, for those that have seen the issue, do you have remote start? If you do the next time you have the issue try this. I know I will. If it turns out pressing that pressing the start button twice "gets it working" it may help Dodge track the issue down.

+1 I have remote start. I have got around this by pressing the lock button and then unlock button as someone else had posted in another thread. I too believe this is some kind of radio wave interference problem. I seem to have the most problems at the post office which is across the street from the police station. I know alot of people have said they have problems in Walmart parking lots. There are details of what radio waves Walmart emits in another thread.

Mine did this to me today, and it's done it a couple of times before. I don't have remote start, but the last time it happened today, i held down the unlock button and they popped up. Unfortunately it seems to happen somewhat sporadically, so no idea when I'll be able to attempt to replicate it.

Mine does it often. Do have remote start.
I have access to a starscan and do see some key fob dtc's set every once in a while. I don't recall now what exactly the code was. If I get a chance I'll look this week.
