Default Performance Upgrades for 2009 5.7 hemi

Okay i drive a 2009 Dodge Ram Larmie crew cab 4wd and i find it is way quiker then my 2008 Hemi but i still would like to know what to put in my new hemi the only performance upgrade that i have is a bully dog triple dog gas downloader i dont find it makes a world of a difference. My question is is there anything besides this programer or mods or tunes that can be done to my truck?

Programmers are still a bit iffy right now for the 09. While a couple of members on the board have tested the new stuff, I plan on waiting till the product is a little more mature. To hear some of their pains, just take a look through some of the programmer threads to see what I'm talking about.

As for other performance, you can always modify the exhaust, add a cold air intake, and change out your rear diff gears to get a little more umph out of the truck.

You running the 91-93 octane tune ? I just saw this and was wondering if it is worth it since feedback on the hypertech and their reported gains and changes to torq mgmt basically suck :

All the programers are going to suck, they are basic tunes for people all across the world. if you want something alot better its going to be a custom dyno tune

Ya save your money I know. The Pro Comp (hypertech) is JUNK. With the top level setting makes my truck act like its going to die at 3,000-4,000 RPMs. TRX4 Package 5.7L 3.92 LS.

Im a noob to this truck scene, came from a 350ztt. Is there any breakdown of exactly what I can do for performance. I have a qc hemi sport with the 392 rear end. Truck says it weighs 5017. Is that even true? Any help will be appreciated

Well as of right now you could do a replacement muffler or a custom cat back system. then you could change the intake but thats not looking so hot right now for some people. and the gears are always an option

well you already know about tunes if you come from the tuner scene. those programers are for people that live in florida and alaska and all in between. a custom dyno tune is going to be your best bet from where you live and your elevation everything is takin into consideration.

and yes you do have the better gears from the factory, but if you want something more (in the future) you could always get 4.56 gears

cool, but how would you tune the truck on a dyno without a standalone or atleast piggy back? Also would you happen to know how to bypass the dvd player so it can play while its in gear? thanks for your help
