Ok, so my first seat replacement was around 12000 miles. I started noticing it around 2-3k miles and it gradually got worse for a few more thousand miles. It got to a point where it really didn't get any worse so I decided to replace it when i had the time (around 12k).

The ride home from the dealer was about 70 miles and the new seat already looked as bad with the seat with 12000 miles. I have 15100 miles on the truck now with these seats. 3000 miles with these new seats already look worse than my previous seats at 12000 miles, not to mention the plastic I feel through the vinly on these. I wish I would've kept the original seats, I'm still fighting to get them replaced again though.

Keep in mind that these pictures do little justice to the condition of the seats. I tried different angles but there's just no way to show it well. It really doesn't look bad in the pictures and you probably can't tell much difference between the new and old covers but trust me, there's a difference!

First seats at 12000 miles

Here's the second with 3000 miles

Here's the plastic

the 2nd ones do look worse. I cannot understand why they are having this problem. I would love this option when I get my truck - VERY hot here in the Dallas area quite a few months out of the year. hope something gets resolved.
