I figured it needed to. When new it took it a while to even get it to kick in like after the flash. Back to normal.

sorry, i forgot all about that. just looked it up & this is what dodge says in the RRT description:
A number of vehicles equipped with ESP Sales code (BNB) were shipped that could set the ABS, ESP, and/or Base Brake warning lamp “ON” in the cluster with code C2200 “
Anti-lock Brake Module Internal”. Dealers are required to flash the ABS Module with updated software if the code is not set. If the code is set and the ABS/ESP and Brake warning lamps are “ON” in the cluster, the module will require replacement.

i did a quick search, and came up with nothing. usually dodge/chrysler will have a better description in RRT, TSB, or recall procedures. unfortunately, this one doesnt have much. basicly, the C2200 is a module finternal fault, and not repairable. only a new module will fix it. for any of the lights coming on, its probably a rationality issue between what the sensors are saying and what the module wants to see. thats my theory on it...

Default General question

Hey guys,

Great thread here, I've got a general question regarding RRT's. I'm going to order a new 1500 here in the next few weeks. I'm curious if Dodge takes known issues (RRT's) from early year builds and automatically corrects them later in the build cycle? So for instance, a build in the early 09 cycle with known issues is automatically fixed by later in that production year?

Or in the case of the soon to be 10's.... will they reach the dealerships already having the known issues corrected? IE, 09-029, 09-035, 09-041, 22-001-09, etc.. already fixed?

JG

My service advisor performed a recall item on Friday on my CC Laramie:

J-10

He was unsure about why they were performing
