I think if a company the size of Vortech wants to create a super charger kit for the Ram, they'll figure out a way to get the programming done. I'm sure the same team in India that wrote the programs for the Charger and Challenger wrote the one for the Ram. They just need to see the interest before they'll be willing to fund the research.

India? Vortech uses Diablosport to tune the Challengers with.
So again, if the Diablosport is not out, how are they going to tune?
Sorry, I guess I wasn't clear. I think Dodge out sources their programming to India not Diablosport. I do IT for a living and see it everyday. Why pay $40+ an hour for each programmer here when you can get the same for $15 in India.
Is there something you know that you're not telling us or are you just quoting the gospel that's been said on these sites? Please elaborate your claims. Someone has to program the factory PCMs, who do you think does it?

What claims? I have only stated facts.
Vortech uses the Diablosport Predator to tune the Challengers with. Check out the website.
Diablosport is in the US and they do aftermarket tuning only.
I have no idea who makes/programs/flashes factory PCM's for Dodge. It doesn't matter. Each truck model gets the same exact program.
I am referring to aftermarket tuning only. Not stock. In order to run a supercharger there needs to be some way to tune the truck. My original question still is, how is Vortech going to tune our truck?

It's the only thing that does matter. I would bet that the language the Challenger PCM is written in is the same language the Rams is. If someone could read and modify that code, why couldn't they do it for the Ram. They can but the demand currently isn't greater than the cost. It's all economics, why do you think the aftermarket has lagged behind on parts for the Rams when the Chevys and Ford have been saturated?
It's not that it can't be done, it's just not profitable yet.

I don't know whether the PCM's are MADE in India or not, but I can tell you that Dodge engineers write the flash. From that point you could pay the lowliest of underlings to actually flash the box.
On a bright note; I bet by the time Vortech designed the physical install side of things that we will have a tuning option. Personally, I wouldn't go there though. That would be alot of work to pull that thing off every time you wanted to go in for a rapid response or a free oil change.
For R&D purposes, they could probably use a DRBIII to bump fuel and retard timing.
