So wait, you're saying that the 2010's do not have the lifetime powertrain warranty? That sucks, but then again could be a blessing in disguise, since I do plan on lifting the truck at some point.

For the AGG option, you mentioned a "lower body kit" what exactly is that? Is it a body kit making the truck lower to the ground? If so, not interested. I'm not a big fan of all of the plastic, plus I'm looking for all the clearance I can get.

Default No Lifetime on 2010s

That's correct. The lifetime powertrain warranty is gone starting with the 2010s. If you can find a 2009 you like equipped the way you want, I'd jump on that. The deals are crazy and the lifetime powertrain is incredibly sweet! I also purchased the lifetime bumper-to-bumper for $1675 ($100 deductible). I guarantee you that the price of that will go up as well since it's lower because of the lifetime powertrain warranty included with the truck. Also, lifting the truck won't void the lifetime powertrain warranty.

The body kit is an airdam extension and side sills so yes, it would be slightly closer to the ground.

I read where you will be able to upgrade to the lifetime powertrain warranty. No idea of the cost though but it is a response to those that wanted to retain that feature on the 2010s.

Just got back from the local dealer. They've got a 09 Sport in Blue optioned out to the gills. No idea what they wanted for it but I saw it out in front of the showroom.

Wow, must be a late build. Could not find any blue ones around here in May/June. That was my first color choice.

So, any updates on the challenger hood option? The 2010's are up on the dodge website to build, but the sport are not an option... yet. Mine is in D status, and the dealer said that it should go D1 in about a week or two. I'm starting to get anxious, dealer said it would be at least another 6 weeks.

Is the hood even an option? I'm not seeing it on any of the models that you can build. Just curious.

Looks like it is now available to order if you are willing to wait for the truck. Ask your dealer to look up option code MGB.

I'm not sure what company Dodge put in charge of their website, but they should be fired, then possibly shot in the foot. I think that's the worst new model year update I've ever seen.

I am new to this board and Dodge Rams in general, I been doing my research and just sold one of my cars to make room to add a Ram 1500 sport to my stable. I tried tracking down a 09 in silver but with no luck. So im now waiting to get my hands on a 2010 (crew cab), i read there not going to build them till late next month, my question is should i sit tight for a few months for the sports to start showing up on dealer lots? or should i go ahead and order one? when you order do the dealers take any money off like they would if it was sitting on there lot? or are you just paying MSRP minus any current dodge incentives?
