I believe the wood grain would be the only difference. Unless he wanted the tan/brown interior. I have a sport with full leather heated/vented seats and heated steering wheel. No fake wood grain though.

I think the Tan/Brown Laramie combo is one of the classiest looking truck interiors and while the wood may be fake, it looks great with that combo. Don't forget the sweet "Laramie" Glovebox door emblem

Do the Sports have the Rams Crest in the backrest part of the seats?? Just curious.

Full leather was not an option in a sport if you get a RC. Had a brain fart there not thinking about the QC and CC sport options. Only the cloth/leather trim seats.

Just an fyi for those sport owners who want fender flares . . . Bushwacker OE Style flares (PN 50916-02) for the 09 1500 Ram comes with two different pcs for the front flare . . . A short one for those with the chrome bumper like the Laramie and SLT . . . And a longer one that continues to the bottom of the front fender for the sport models . . . Both styles have a seam where the fender meets the bumper at the headlight, just two diff length pcs that continue from there . . . Bushwacker customer service emailed me the PDF of the installation instructions that shows it both ways . . . Looks much better on the Sport than the "stop short" flares shown above.

I applaud the effort to make your truck what you wanted it to be. If you like it, that is certainly all that should matter. I think it looks nice (although I am a two tone Laramie kinda guy myself!)
Congrats on the mods and truck!

Did you paint the side-step and Ram emblem in the hood yourself?

+1 I want to change the front bumper on my ST to the Sport but found it it would cost a lot to do so. I wonder if it would be easier to change to the SLT front, I'm assuming the supports are the same.
