Default Led cargo lights

I just purchased some LED lights to replace the factory cargo lights. These should come in handy when we camp, etc, and we need to see in the bed of the truck. The stock ones just aren't bright enough. Reason for post is to see if anyone else has had to replace these or upgrade these. I took the two screws out and tried to remove the assembly but it won't come out. Is there a trick to this? Any help would be appreciated.

The service manual says you just pull it out

1.Disconnect and isolate the battery negative cable.
2.Remove the two screws (1) that secure the Center High Mounted Stop Lamp (CHMSL) (3) to the rear roof header panel.
3.Pull the CHMSL away from the opening in the roof header far enough to access and disconnect the headliner wire harness connector (4) from the pigtail connector on the back of the lamp housing.
4.Remove the CHMSL from the roof header.

I found that some bed lights work best because the cargo lights can blind you when your looking in your box (with the cover on) i put some Reacon led bed lights in and they work Great!

You must have picked the wrong LEDS because the ones I just installed work and work really well. They light up a pretty nice area around the entire rear of the truck. I definitely won't go back to the stop lights. I ordered from v-leds.com

I paid less than the 59.99 posted. If you call them and tell them you heard of them from Tundrasolutions they give you 15% off. My brother drives a tundra and told me about this. Apparently the owner drives a Tundra.
