hey dude i just bought some rims and tires and they are 205 40r17 just go with those they will work and i have seen neons with srt4 rims and they looked and seemed to be fine so i dont know why they wouldnt work
the srt4s have different style struts..thats why the larger tire fits, unlike the regular neons...the 205 50's are gonna look like rubberbands around the rims...if you want a little more meat, then get 215/40's.......
i have 205/40's on srt4 rims on my first gen, if i coulda got 215's i woulda but since the srt rims are kinda narrow, they woulda caused some issues....here is some 205 40's on srt rims...they are alot smaller then the 205/50's
If you use stock struts the 50 series tire will rub on the strut mount...your best bet for both performance and comfort would be the 215-45-17, plus they will fit without rubbing issues.
