Default Removal of Spark Plug Tubes

I have a bit of a problem. I've got a 95 Neon and it blew a plug. I've purchased a helicoil repair kit. I've removed the valve cover and now need to how to remove the spark plug tube or even if it's possible to do so. Can anyone help a very VERY green shade tree mechanic out?

I think its an interferance fit, So you have to pull really really hard and it should come off.

Just pulling it off without turning or twisting? Ok, will try that.

you can actually insert a heli-coil by removing only the spark plug and wire....
i had to put one in my car a couple monthes ago....

take the tap and load it up with grease.....then after you've tapped the hole, start up the car without the spark plug in it....that way it can blow all the old shavings out of the hole....then insert the heli-coil...
worked great for me
