My check engine light just came on. I ran it by Advance Auto for them to run the scanner on it, and it came up with the code P0441. It says EVAP Emission Control System Purge Flow Fault. Any ideas on what to check for? Thanks for the help.
Could be a clogged vapor canister. I know mine is faulty. I reset the computer twice on that code (got saturated with gasoline) and it hasn't reappeared, although I plan on replacing the canister.
I work at Autozone, and I see that code all the time. Sometimes all you have to do is tighten the gas cap and reset the computer (take off the negative battery cable for about 5 minutes) and that's it
mine was done with a friends scanner and i unhooked the battery for 5 minutes and retightened the gas cap and then hooked the battery back up and no check engine light again and that was like 2000 miles ago.

It will be back. I bet his vapor canister got sloshed with gasoline as well and mine. It keeps returning on mine every few thousand miles. I am going to correct the problem soon, because a failure in the EVAP/Purge system will lead to other failures.
This drove me nuts for a while till I finally found a small crack in the end of one of the vac hoses on TOP of the fuel tank. Replaced the hose and it has never come back. Its just a matter of tracing and checking all the hoses very carfully. If not that, then may be the fuel cap or purge. I like to look at the small stuff 1st!: )
