Default wheel bolt pattern

Is the bolt pattern the same on the older '99 Dodge 2500 as the 2006 Dodge? I know that the rim size went from 16" to 17" but I would like to use the old black center caps on my new rims. I am putting a free-spin lockout hub kiton the front end and want to machine the center caps.

They should be the same. Might want to get a wheel from a friend just to be sure.

They are the same. My brother-n-law had a 99 and I ran his wheels, off of that truck, on my 07 for a week or so.

Keep in mind not only bolt pattern, but hub size and offset are also very important factors.

I'm not one to know from one model year/generation to another how they might differ though.
