This became my first car. When my Dad bought his 64 Newport, they did not offer him what he thought the tires were worth, so he kept it for a 2nd car. When he bought a 62 Dodge, he retired this car and gave it to me (7years old at the time) and brought it to the old family farmhouse that belonged to my Uncle. It was put on blocks and when we would visit I would beg to be taken over to the old house so I could "drive" my car. I did get $5.00 for it when somebody offered to buy it for scrap metal. I still have a taillight from it as a souvenir.
For the 1960 Model year, Dodge's Junior line, the Dart Series, was available in Seneca, Pioneer and Phoenix trim levels. The Senior line consisted of Matador and Polara models.
